Reason cited was a shortage of applicants and failure of the few Moore County high school senior girls who did apply to pass the entrance requirements at High Point Memorial Hospital. The SVA, a group of World War II veterans in this area, for many years has conducted a pub lic fund campaign that finances nurse training for one or more girls annually. Seven SVA schol arship holders are now in train ing at High Point. NOW AT YOUR FORD DEALER'S... mi PERFORMANCE FORD SPECIALS! THE CARS THAT SWEPT THE RECORD BOOKS!
