Tennis Tournament
A high school tennis tourna
ment is underway on the new
courts at the town hall thanks to
the leadership of the Lions Club
and other clubs for contributing
to the project. The two courts are
being enjoyed by individuals in
the community as well as the
Physical Education classes at the
school.

Rev. George Cheney attended the
meeting of Fayetteville Presby
tery on Tuesday at Lumber
Bridge.
The Rev. Mr. Cheney will be
gin a study of the Introduction to
the Covenant Life on Sunday
evening at 7 o’clock at the Pres
byterian Church.-
On Sunday morning at the
Presbyterian Church School, a
study will begin on “The Mighty
Acts of God,” by Rhodes, and
books have been purchased for
each family.
