This was the Knights’ fourth straight victory . After losing the toss of the coin, Southern Pines’s Tommy West kicked off. The kick was re turned by Red Springs’s Jim Hasty to their own 36-yard line. Late in the third period, the Knights’ Peter Pezzi recovered a fumble on the visitors’ 17-yard hne to give the Knights posses sion of the ball. Three plays later, Pezzi scored from 10 yards out. On the crucial extra point olay. Quarterback Ricky Johnson rolled out to his left, and, with the help of excellent blocking by his teammate, scored. In the Fourth period, the Knights put on two goal-line stands and held on for the vic tory. Coach^^s Tony Trentini and Larry Addleton were extremely "leased with the victory.
