However, when a thick test booklet reached each student, all the directions were given, and the word “begin!” was sounded, the group of droopy, sleepy students was shocked into reality. For some of them, this was a last chance to make a good grade for college. But we are certain that every student will make above what he expected. Honor Rolls Happy days are here again! Wednesday, December 2, reports of each student’s work for the past six weeks were given out in the form of report cards! There were many sighs of relief from some lucky students who had made better than they expected, but there were some sights of disappointment from those who didn’t do so well. Christmas Decorations Christmas is upon us, and the CP&L Employs Scott As Engineer At Raleigh Edwin Norman Scott has been employed by Carolina Power & Light Company as an engineer in the company’s line engineer ing section in Raleigh. A native of Glendive, Mont., he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Montana State College. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a veteran of two years of service in the U. S. Army. Christmas Means Fun Monday, December 7, there was a joint meeting of the Future Homemakers of America and the Student Council. The purpose of the meeting was to decide if the two clubs would give a tea for the whole school as a Christmas present. It was voted that the two clubs do this.
