Freeman, son of Faye Freeman of Route 2, Robbinsville, and whose wife, Deborah, is the daughter of Eddie C. and Kathleen Brener of Candor, has departed on a deployment to the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean. He is a member of Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 135, based at the Naval Air Sta tion Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, Wash., and embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk. During the six-month deploy ment the squadron will be par ticipating in various training ex ercises with other 7th Fleet units and those of allied nations. Port visits are scheduled in various Far Eastern Ports. His squadron flies the EA-6B “Prowler” electronic countermeasures aircraft. Some papers require the security of a safe deposit box. Among these are birth certi ficates, church records, military records, marriage and divorce documents, employ ment information, mortgages, contracts and debt notes, bonds, stock certificates, auto mobile titles and a copy of wills. You can group other important papers into these three areas: 1) Some you should carry with you include identification, health records, insurance cards, and organization memberships. 2) “Retired records” to be stored in a permanent file at home include guarantees and warranties, insurance policies, real estate ownership papers, tax records and location records. Dr. Barry Buchele It’s ‘For Women Only’ At Library Thursday Area women have been invited to a program on women’s health. “For Women Only” will be presented by the Moore County Library on Thursday night, June 4 at 7:30. Dr. Barry Buchele of FIRST BIRTHDAY — Kenna D. McLean Jr., son of Kenna and Cynthia McLean, will celebrated his first birthday May 27 with a birthday party at his mother’s house in Southern Pines May 30. He is the grandson of Helen McLean and Addie Livingston and celebrated with his family and friends. Pinehurst Medical Clinic will speak. Three broad areas of current interest to women will be covered. Women attending will learn measures to maintain good health. Dr. Buchele will outline good and bad news gained from recent medical research. And the patient as a consumer will be discussed. Dr. Buchele plans an informal program. Women are urged to bring health care questions for him to address. Having practiced in Moore County for the past two years. Dr. Buchele is well-known throughout the Sandhills. He graduated with a B. A. in German at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He received his medical degree at the University of San Antonio. His residency was spent at Bexar County Hospital System in San Antonio, Texas.
