Principal Speaker o,i First Day
A. C. SHALLENBERGER.
It was Theodore Roosevelt who said
that the Chautauqua was "The Most
American Thing In America." And
th? Chautauqua is making good on
that basis. It has planned for a spe
cial Patriotic Day with Governor A. C.
Sballenberger of Nebraska, a member
?f the Military Affairs committee in
Congress, to speak on "The True Pa
trlotUm," and one-half the single ad
missions for this first day will be given
to the Red Cross. In communities
Where there is no Red Cross organlza
tlon this money will be given to any
other patriotic society that may b?
chosen by the local Chautauqua ce*i
mlttee or to the state branch of the
Red Cross.
The music for the first day, and for
the other four days as well, will be
strongly patriotic In flavor. The red,
white and blue colors will have a con
spicuous place in the Chautauqua's
decorations, and the addresses for th?
entire five days will ring with the
spirit of Americanism and devotion to
country.

How To Buy Hardware!
Don't comb the country trying to find a house that sells
"cheap" Hardware. Your purchase itself will be "cheaper"
than the price. Select a house that charges the value of
the article and then GUARANTEES the article it sells.
A reliable article can ALWAYS be guaranteed. A "cheap"
one never can. And "cheap" Hardware is both cheap
and worthless.
Where To Buy It
THIS IS THE PLACE
, We charge the value of what we sell, but never any
more. We GUARANTEE every article we sell, and
BACK UP THE GUARANTEE.
