No. 2 Will Meet in Selma.
The Exemption Boards are now
ready for the great task devolving
upon them. Board No. 2, comprising
the eight townships of Selma, Pine
Level, Micro, Boon Hill, Beulah,
Oneals, Wilders and Clayton, has call
ed the first contingent of young men
under the Selective Draft Law to
meet the board in Selma next Mon
day. N. E. Ward is chairman and
Capt. H. L. Skinner is secretary.
The first call is for 135 men. as pub
lished in Tuesday's Herald. The sec
ond call was sent out Wednesday for
135 men, and the third call went out
yesterday for 134, making a total of
404 men from District No. 2. The
names of these young men follow in
the order they are to meet the board
for the physical examination. The
liability number is given first and
then the serial, or red ink number,
with the name following. The first
call is for Monday, August 6; the
second is for Tuesday, August 7, and
the third is for Wednesday, August
