Winston, of Wendell, is visiting Mrs. Mamie T. Cand ler. Mrs. I. W. Mayerberg has re turned from a Richmond Hos pital, where she has been under going treatment for some time. Her many friends are delighted to have her hack. Mr. H. E. Karp and daughtjr, Miss Elizabeth, motored to Rich mond last Thursday. Master Fred Archer Woodard is visiting Master Fred Gardner in Smith field. Mr. and Mrs. S. V. Pitts and two daughters, of Charlotte, spent last week end with Miss Margaret Etheridge. They were former res idents of Selma and have many friends here who always welcome them back. Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Tuck, Mr. Harry Candler and Mrs. Georgi ana Tuck spent last Friday in Wilmington with Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Broadfoot. They left Mrs. Georgians Tuck for a week’s visit. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ashworth and little daughter have returned to Spring Hope after a visit herj to Mrs. R. A. Ashworth. Mrs. H. F.. Karp is at home again after taking treatment for several weeks at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. Her condi tion is much improved and she expects to be out soon. Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Wiggs vis ited relatives in Kenly Sunday. Mrs. P. A. Holland and Mr. Mose Godwin were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Gardner in Smith field Sunday. Mrs. W. F.
