well calculated to pass himself for a free
man, which no doubt he will attempt to
do; he is well known in this county,
particularly in this and the neighbor
hood of the late Lemmon Ruflin, Esq.
where he has a wife. The above re

said Harry to me near Sparta, Edge

sition, that will in a great measure resist
the power of oxidation, possessed bv the
concentrated acidous substance collected
in the Necks and Worms by distillation.

difficulty of Worms and Necks soon
getting out of repair another very im
portant improvement will be made in
the proportion of the Necks and Worms
which will greatly ffciilate the conden
sation of the spirits, expedite their run
ning, add to ihe quantity, and save both
time and labor.
