ander Martin, who was one of the
five delegates from North Carolina

in 1787, which framed the Federal
Constitution. Thn picture will be
painted from one in possession of
Goy. Martin's grand nephew, Col
James Martio.
Mr. Rosenthal has been employ
ed to paint a series oi portraits of
all the members of the Constitution

placed in Independence Flail, Phil
adelphia. lie will go to Chapel
Hill from here to paint a portrait
ol Gen. William R. Davie, who
was also • member of the Qonsti
tutiooal Convention. From there
