A New Church to be Built
Sunday night at a meeting of the
Vestry of the Episcopal Church,
Bishop Strange submitted plans
for a new building to take tbe
place of tbe eld one now in use.
These plans were accepted, and
Col W. G.. Lamh was .chosen to
wiiteft letter 10 Mrs. y. G. Staton
thanking her accepting the offer to
erect the building at her expense
Mrs. S'atou will be given com
plete control of its erection, dis
posal of the present building and
any matters pertaining to
the new Church. The present
building, bowerever, will be moved
and retained for the use of Sunday
School and other services and meet
ings. Tbe parish is to be congrat
ulated and the building will add
greatly to the town. Benton &
