After receiving congratulations and good wishes, the bride and groom, accompanied by a few friends, motored to Rocky Mount where they departed for an ex tended Northern trip. On their return they will feside at Palmy ra. The bride \yas unusually beau tiful in her going-away suit of blue. Her sweet, charming per sonality made her a favorite among her friends. The groom, formerly of Will iamston, but now of Palmyra, is a leading business man of that city. Appreciation Editor, Enterprise:- Will you allow space in your paper to thank the people of this township for courtesies me last. week. Without my knowledge a petition was circu lated here, to the road commis sioners asking them to employ j me to keep up the roads in this | township, which I have been j told 99 percent of the tax payers j in this township signed. Should this honorable board see fit to offer me this position, for sever al reasons, I could not under any circumstances accept. One be ing that I have contracted with the commissioners of Roberson ville township to build roads for them. However, I extend to * every man who signed this peti tion my personal thank; also wish to thank those who have taken and interest in my welfare since I have been here. I hope that the roads will be kept in good condition. Again thanking all. I beg to remain. Sincerely. Frank G. Hines.
