The ftght is on now, Voter,
To nominate the man
For sheriff of Martin County.
Now, please do all you can.
For the aid of A. L. Roebuck,
Who sure deserves the praise
Of dealing fair with every man
That's hard to find these days.
He's asked you search his record,
And in it if you And
One blot to justify you
We'd have you change your mind.
But don't believe the gossip
That's rumored here and there
That if Roebuck's elected
R. Manning will All the chair.
For this is false, through envy,
To down this noble man.
So come on all you voters
And join the Roebuck band.
Now, hold your nerve, Bro. Roebuck,
We know the time's not long
Before we'll nom-i-nate you
Three hundred ballots strong.
