Dr. Pittman, local physician has
vaccinated 97 pupils against smallpox.
By request, the Seniors will repeat
the play given before the holidays,
"The Eyeß of Love." This is a thrill
ing play. Don't miss seeing it on
Tuesday night, January 31 in the
school auditorium. Admission 26 and

The ninth grade home economics
girls have begun a real project. In
studying child care they are putting
in action the results of their study.
A little girl from the first grade is
being fed and clothed and taught the
first rules of health at the expense of
the class.
For the third time, the Oak City
basketball team won over Koberson
ville team on Friday evening on the
Robersonville court by the score of
10 to 10. The game was enjoyed and
a splendid attitude was expressed by
both teams.
The Journalism club met Tuesday
l ight in the home economics rooms.
Despite the rain and wind most of
the members were present and after
a program of original stories, book
reviews and editorials the party en-;
joyed refreshments under the leader
ship of Principal H. M. Ainsley.
