Pardo Whereas, 'The Reverend Clarence 0. l'ardo has been suddenly called from his earthly pilgrimage to begin his immortal journey among the redeemed of God. Whereas, for the last four and one half years Brother Pardo, as a Chris tian minister, has preached the love of Jesus from the pulpit and lived it among his fellows on the streets. Whereas, Brother Pardo as fellow brother has been kind and consider ate, sympathetic and charitable, giv ing true expressions of the teaching* of the Man of Galilee. Whereas, in becoming a member of the Kiwanis "Club he labored faith fuUy and well for the civic develop ment and moral progress of his town and community. Whereas, his untimely departure from our midst saddnes the hearts of his fellow-members, and we bow in reverence and obedience to the will of God. Therefore, be it Resolved, that the Kiwanis Club of Williamston, North Carolina, do hereby express our deepest sorrow over the departure of J f our friend and brother, Rev. C. O. Pardo; and tender our greatest aym ' i pathy to his bereaved family. Be it Resolved further that a copy of this resolution be given to the bereaved family, a copy spread upon the Kiwanis Club records, and a copy be published in the Enterprise. O. P. FITZERALD, W. C.
