Smith, jr., of Greensboro, was a visitor here yesterday. ♦ Miss Everett Entertains In Honor of Nieces • Palmyra, Sept. 17. —Last Friday evening, from 6:30 to 10:30, Miss Hattie Everett entertained at Swamp lawn, her country home, in honor of her nieces, Misses Margaret Shields Everett, of Greenville, and Martha Spruill Everett, of Palmyra, who re cently returned after spending her summer vacation in California. Early in the evening, on the lawn, a weiner and marsh mallow roast, fol lowed by games and fortune telling, was much enjoyed.
