RESOLUTIONS OF RESPECT
I The members of Cedar Branch
I Baptist church, Jamesville, were sad
dened by the suddent death of one of
their most devoted and loyal members
when, on January 10, 1932, the death
angel claimed for Jts own the spirit of
Charles A. Askew, sr. As individuals
and as a church, we deeply feel and
mourn his loss.
He lived to be 56 years old. He
was a most estimable man; one whose
life was beyond reproach.
Therefore be it resolved:
1. That in Mr. Askew's death we
have lost a noble friend, and promot
er of alt the activities of the church
that he loved so well.
2. That we are thankful for his life,
which was one "hid with Christ in
God," and was spent in loving serv
ice to others as unto Him. Like his
Master, he spent his life doing good
for others.
3. That we express to hia family our
deepest sympathy and love, and to
commend them to the,, watchcare of
Him whom he served and loved.
4. That a copy of these resolutions
be published n the Biblical Recorder
, and in The Enterprise, a copy be writ
ten in the church minutes, and a copy
be furnished each member of his fam-
I ily.
