FARM TEACHERS HOLD MEETING Tri-County Group To Hold Twelve Sessions Each Year in Roper (Roanoke Beacon) The vocational agriculture teachtrs of Martin, Washington and Tyrrell Counties meet in a group once each month at the Roper school to discuss problems relative to agriculture school work. Twelve meetings are held dur ing the year other than call meetings. Teachers making up the group are: Mr. Mullins, Oak City; R. C. Jordan, Jamesville; C. H. Floyd, of Roper; C. H. Rabon, C res well; and Pat Duncan, ??f Columbia. C. H. Rabon is chairman of the group and has charge of leading all ! discussions. C. H. Floyd is secretary and treasurer, while R. C. Jordan is ' reporter. Topics for discussion this year are I as follows: November: Farm credit. ' December: Evening classes: January: PT6ject selection and fath- ; er and son banquets. February: Reports. March: Fertilizers. April: Supervised practices. May: Forms of recreation. June: Election of new officers and general business. Besides the group meetings during j the year, each teacher of agriculture attends one week of instruction at 1 Fifteen Boys From County At Wake Forest This Year W?kc Forest?Fifteen sons of Mar- ' tin County citizens are among the 1,000 students enrolled at Wake For est College this semester.
