Fire Wrecks Humble Home On East Church Here Here Fire, believed to have been start ed by a rodent in a little-used dress er, wrecked the home of Rose Ches son, colored woman, on East Church street heie last Tuesday afternoon. No accurate damage check has been releasd by W. V. Ormond, rental agent, but it is estimated the loss will exceed $200. All of the roof was burned and the top timbers were burned down to a point even with the top o? the second story. Volunteer firemen al most brought the fire under control with a hose line direct from the truck, but a connection with the town's water mains was necessary. The firemen laid 1,000 feet of hose from the burning house to the near est hydrant. The house was in bad repair but it was home for nine or ten people. Try a [TEXACO DEALER next time HARRISON OIL CO.
