The sweetheart neckline caught with, satin bows was i specially becoming with the knife pleats forming a stand-up collar in the back. The full skirt fell into a short circular train. Mr. Whitley is the son of J R. and the late Amelia White Whitley, of I Burlington, and was graduated from Davidson College and received his degree m Theology from Union Sem inary, Richmond, Va. He was a mem < her of the Davidson Glee club and the Seminary quarter. He also play ed oh the varsity baseball team at Davidson and has played profession al ball.
