Eason on ; Academy Street, on Saturday eve ning from 8 until 12 o'clock, Mrs. Eason and Misses Ruth Manning and Mary Taylor entertained with a bridge shower honoring Miss Joseph ine Harrison, bride-elect, of this month The lovely home was particularly attractive in its decorations. Flow ers carried out the color schemes in the various rooms. In the living room yellow roses and yellow and brown dahlias were used. Bowls of red roses and white chrysanthemums were placed in the dining room. Rose gladioli and zinnias were effective against the gray background in the hall and in the den and breakfast room, red dahlias and bitter sweet were attractively arranged. The honoree won* a yellow and gold gown and her cor sage was of talisman roses. Mrs Dunn, a bride of the summer chose a white dress with yellow roses and Mrs. N. R. Manning, a recent bride wore a yellow and black taffeta gown with red roses. Mrs. W. H. Crawford, who was al-1 so honored, it being her 66th birth day. served punch during the eve ning. She was assisted by Mrs. N. R. Manning After four progressions of bridge Mrs. G. H. Harrison, Jr., was pre sented high score, a sewing kit. Mrs. Francis Barnes was given sachet powder for second high and Mrs Henry Harrison received a box of soap for consolation. The honoree was given silver in her selected pat tern. A salad course with beaten biscuits and ham sandwiches and tea was served by the hostesses. After this Miss Harrison was presented a show er of presents from those attending.
