Coach Doc Newton's Wolfpack, rated only mediocre before the cur rent season got underway, has sur f prised even the most optimistic. In East, Fehley and Watts, Coach New ton has a trio of smooth-working backs who perform equally as well both defensively and offensively. His line, although not studded with outstanding stars, is steady and re liable, and charges very hard. At North Carolina. Lalanne and Don Baker once more are expected to spark a fine offense in every de partment, to say nothing of capable aid from Dunkle, Sadoff, Connor, Pe cra, O'Hare and a host of others. In the forward wall, All-American Paul Severin is expected to stop the Wolf pack, along with Gates Kimball, Carl Sunthiemer, Dick White, Gwynn Nowell and others. Coach Ray Wolf was very well pleased with his team's exhibition against Texas Christian last week end, and hopes that they have hit their stride and will be ready for the fighting State College Wolf 4 TOa FEATHERS IS Ail WIISKEY 3 i -Mi W Bend of straight washes 00 Proof Tfie stra k : "tff1 ,n 'P i P'oduct die 4 s Blue Devil Is Ready To Go Jap Davis, now over his injur ies, will be ready to go when Duke I'niversity invades Col gate for their annual tilt.
