Former Williamston Gratis Now Playing With Mars Hill Team Anderson Twins, Jo jo Tliin pen and j. K. Boy tin 'Make ihe Grade' Mars Hill?(Special?Coach Rob erta' gridiron machine at Mars Hill College boasts four former mem beri of the Williamston High School football team. The candidates are Martin Ander son, playing halfback .and Arthur Anderson, end; Jo Jo Thigpen. cen ter, and J. E. Boykin, back The Anderson twins are excep tionally good players. Martin not only carries the ball well, but is an extremely successful blocking back. Arthur Anderson, playing end. has unproved this season, to add u> his already fine ability. In fact he is considered a probable starter of the Mars Hill eleven. Jo Thigpen is not only a fine and accurate center, but on defense, he backs up the line well. He tackles hard, and can take it himself J. E. Boykin is one of the best re serve passers and kickers on the squad From the appearance of his present backfield ability he will see plenty of action next year Out of the four conference games Mars Hill has played so far this year they have won three and tied one Martin and Arthur Anderson are twins, and the sons of O. S. Ander son. They played two years on the Williamston team, coached by Sam Edwards. Jo Thigpen is the son of J F. Thigpen and J. E Boykin is the son of Mr. and Mrs J. E.
