The Real Spirit of Christmas By PRESTON C'AYTON Pastor Sweel Home Christian Church Many years ago, in the little linen of Bethlehem, the inns trert filled with people. While the little town slept, a child was bom in the stables where the cattle were kept, because there was no room in the inn jot them. Out on the hillside, the shepherds were watching their sheep, and there on the hillside, angels were seen. They filled the shy. The shepherds were sore afraid; but the angels said, "Br not afraid, for, behold, I bring you news of great joy, Which shall be to all the people, for there is born to you this day in Be I hie hi m, the city of David, a Saviour who is called Christ the Lord. You may see Him there and may know Him by this sign?He is a new-born baby, lying in a manger." The sky above them was filled with angels praising Cod and singing, "Glory to God in the highest; and on earth, peace and good will towards men." Yes; Christ came to the world to bring peace to all the world, Jo every nation on earth. On this day, will we give Jesus a part in our pleasure, and enjoy the real spirit of Christmas? .Vole If you know of some family which needs help, won't you share with them' You remember how the seise men brought their gifts to Jesus.
