At Fort Bragg Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Garland Coltrain, Miss Marion Pender and Dr. Llew elyn visited at Fort Bragg Sun day University of North Carolina Band Making a tour of eastern North Carolina this week, the Cniversity of North Carolina band will appear In concert in the high school au ditorium here tomorrow morning: at 10 o'clock. Directed by Karl Slo cum, the crack Cniversity band includes in its repertoire all 00 of the selections used in the State and National music contests last year, and the plan is lor each high school conductor to choose the numbers for the local concert. The Tar Heel musicians, who are best known perhaps for their appearances at Carolina football Karnes, also appeared in New York. Winston-Salem and Charlottesville last fall, and give a series of concert appearances each sprinj*. The local boys turned in a one sided victory over the Lewiston five by scoring a 48-Hi verdict James Ward, with 15 points, led the Wil liamston attack.
