I think real Democracy is when the
he government is governed By the
people, (or the people, and of the
people. As we look over Europe to
lay, we realize the danger of war. If
Hitler should win this war, it would
break up all true Democracy in Eu
rope. Do you think the people in Ger
many lead a Democratic life with a
man at the head of the government
telling them what they can do and
what they cannot do? They do not
have freedom of speech, of press,
ind of religion and do not have a
Democratic government.

ments in the world are our country
? Hie United States of America,
England, France and Canada. Each
and every person has the right to
hold public office, man or woman,
white or black. We have freedom of
ipeech, freedom of press, freedom of
religion, and freedom of aasembly.
rhis is what I think real Democracy
is.
We love our Country, we love and
respect the principles upon which it
is founded. It is up to each individ
ual citizen of the United States to

Brown chopped onion lightly in
le butter, add mushrooms (chop
ed) and cook 10 min., add season

4 eggs
1-2 c milk
1 tap sugar
4 crackers
1 c salmon flaked
1 can corn (niblets)
Beat eggs with milk and sugar.
Add other ingredients. Fry as ome

Whole Steamed Onions
With Catsup Sauce
Simmer onions gently to keep
whole (until tender). Serve with cat
sup sauce for 8 onions combine 1-2
c catsup and 2 tbps melted butter
