Insurance Salesman Loves "Army Life'" Fort Bragg?Private Price Crow ell, recently inducted into the Army at Fort Bragg*s Reception Center, is probably the happiest rookie in the armed forces. It's all the result of the Reception Center's policy of put ting round pegs in round holes. Private Crowell, a former insur ance salesman, is now explaining Government Insurance to new in ductees, and his sales are terrific. The first three men he explained it to subscribed to $10,000 each ? the maximum?and sales have been uni formly high ever since. And all with out any solicitation. Private Crowell feels that he is in an insurance sales man's dream world. Lt. Colonel Terrell E. Price, Re ception Center Commander, and Pri vate Crowell's other superior offi cers are watching somewhat nerv ously to see his reaction when he realizes that he doesn't get any premiums out of all of this busi neso only the |81 a month all nFW~ privates draw, ? AAA Applications Must Be Filed By End Of Month E Y. Floyd, AAA executive assist ant, says these applications must be flied by March 31st. Payments will not be made if applications are filed later than that date. The signing must take place at the AAA office in the county in which the farm is lo cated. However, checks will be mail ed directly to farmers this year in stead of the grower having to come to the county AAA office when the check arrives. ? Mr. A. S.
