The marriage of Miss Elizabeth
Holliday, of Jamesville, and John
R Coltrain, Jr., of Route 1, William
ston, was solemnized on Saturday af
ternoon, July 25th, at the home of
the Rev. L. M Ambrose, pastor of
the Old Ford Christian Church.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.
W. Holliday, the bride wore a be
coming street length dress of cloud
blue with white accessories. She is
a graduate of the Jamesville High
School and is popularly known in
this county.
Mr. Coltrain is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. John R Coltrain, oS Griffins
Township, and he is now in the serv
ice of the U. S. Army, stationed in
New York State.
While her husband is away, Mrs.
Coltrain will make her home with
her parents near Jamesville.

OPA is about to begin a program
of enforcement of the general max
imum price regulation in areas where
its educational activities have reach
ed a majority of retailers. Price Ad
ministrator Henderson announced
July 26th.

At the same time, the Administra
tor called the attention of retailers
to the fact that housewives and oth
er members of the buying public ac
quired the legal right, beginning
July 31, to bring civil suits for a min
imum of $50 (or treble the amount
of the overcharge, whichever is
greater), plus attorney's fees and
costs, against any storekeeper who
charges them more for an article
than the OPA regulations allow.
Similar suits may be filed by ten
anlt in dofanse-rantal areas against
landlords who collect rents above
those permtted by OPA rent orders.
