Loose Hungry Lions Here Last Evening Due to some misunderstanding no dinner was prepared tor the regular meeting, and a group of hungry lions were loosed on the streets. No hu man was attacked, as far as it could be learned, but Doc Eugene Rice gently coaxed several of the mem bers of the Lions Club wi'h fero cious uppetites to lunch counters and pacified them with rare steak din ners. No damage was done and whether they know it of not, the club members aided the war effort by skipping the meal and saving a lot of fat for firing guns. Strange as it may seem the entire membership, excepting the presi dent, reported when no eats were prepared. And without eats, there was no business.
