Riggs. enter- i talned a host of her friends in | honor of her sixth birthday at her home at 101 North Martin street Wednesday afternoon. The house' was prettily decorated in jonquils and roses and the Easter Idea was carried out in the refreshments. Baskets filled with. Easter eggs were given as favors. Little Miss Riggs received a various number of j gifts. After playing games in the j yard refreshments were served by j Mrs. W. S. Riggs. assisted by Mrs.' A. C. Garrett. Mm. Prank Weeks, Mrs. Lizzie H. Forbes. Mrs. T. 8. Mann and Mrs. Brandon Davis. The little ones enjoying the afternoon with Mrs. Riggs were: George and Connie Paulos. Annie Elisabeth and Fltecher Ratley, Miriam Gregson, Jack and Earl Weeks, Judson Davis. Frances and Raymond Grant, Elea nor Raper, and Junior and Helen Garrett. MEETING POSTPONED TO NEXT TUESDAY AFTERNOON The literary department of the Woman's Club will meet Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the South ern Hotel. The meeting scheduled for this week was postponed on ac count of the death of J. G. Hollo well. HAD GOOD MEETING The Myra Ormond Circle of the First Methodist Church met Monday afternoon at the homo of Mrs. R. R. Taylor. Eighteen members and two visitors were present.
