Bathing was greatly en Joyed and a lunch was served on the tables arranged on the beach con sisting of welners. sandwiches, pickles, salad, fruil salad, buns, and other goodies. Those enjoying the delightful occasion were: Mr. and Mrs. Seibert and son, Ferris Jr.. Mrs. Victor Carter, Misses Lois Sanders. Ethel Cartwright. Dollie Mae Maston, Clara Man Williams. Beatrice Hunch. Helen Koch, Elea nor Kerr; Messrs Osmouth Cosby and Michael Payne. Kitjoy Kv?*iilug Sail On Thursday evening a boating party given by Capt. and Mrs. M. 1'. Hite spoilt a delightful evening on a sail down the river on the "Picket." Dinner was served on the boat and the occasion was one which was very much enjoyed. Those in the party were: Mr. and Mrs. Marry Kramer. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Hughes and son, Edward, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pfaff of Ohio, Misses Faith and Barbara Hite, Andrew Sanders, Brad Sanders, D. M. Miss Holland Wescott of Manteo passed through the city Wednesday enroute to Baltimore where she will take the summer course at Peabody Conservatory. Miss Helen Little Is attending the Blue Itldge Conference as a delegate of 8t. Mary College. Dr. II. B. Davis, who Is taking a course in surgery in the post gra duate school of the University of Virginia, Is spending a few days vis iting friends in the County. Miss Martha Bragaw of Washing ton, D. C. is the guest of her cousin. Miss Elen Mellck on East Matthews street. Mrs. John Evans and children of Manteo returned Thursday after visiting Mrs. Evans mother, Mrs. Will Mann. Mr. and Mrs. M. P.
