H. Jones of Yancey ville and Miss Hattie Taylor of Gatesvilie arrived this week to take up their work in the Grad ed Schools. No children of the primary grades will be admitted after the first two weeks of school until after the Christmas holidays, therefore, parents Bhould see that their children are properly enrolled at the be gining of the Fall term. The "Iota Phi Tau" Fraterni ty was organized here n Aug ust 23rd. with the following charter members; Teddy Blount, L. D. Barco, J. W. Buchanan, C. L. Walker, H. C. Jackson, D. L. Peacock, J. A. Herrrington, W. C. Herringtor, W. H. Thomp son, N. T. McAllister and C. G. Lilley. The organization is purely a social fraternity among the youne men of Rooer and very simular to their 'Frats" at College. Mr. James A.
