The old Nurney Blacksmith Shop, which has been an eyesore to the town for ages, is being torn down, and a modern brick stables will be erected on "the spot by J. S. Shugar. This new building will occupy a space ot 40x80 feet, and will be built in the rmst modern and improved manner. The contract has been let to Mr. R. P. Walkey, and the roof will be covered with Edward's Metal Roofing. Hose and Reel Stations. The city fathers have decided to erect two hose and reel stat ions on Third Street. One at the junction of Adams and Third; the other on the corner of Mon roe and Third. These stations will be equipped with a modern fire-fightin appa ratus, and will be a valuable precaution.
