He will teach u class at the Methodist church in a few days. F. Y. Willbanks, who was serious ly injured while cutting timber near here some time ago by a falling limb, is recovering and is expected to bo out again soon. Mrs. Ethel Lee is with her parents this week, Mr. and Mrs. J. M Mo Kinna, and is sick with measles. Miss Sallie McKinna has it also. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Breedlove and two children, Fred and Jessie, who have been very sick with measles, are improving. The train killed a fine young hound, which belonged to Carl Breedlove, last week. Mrs. Ira Galloway is able to be out after a week’s illness with measles. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Owen of Toxaway have moved to Gloucester. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Headen, Sunday March 11a daugh ter. They were visiting Wait Reid, who is 17 ELK ARRIVE Seventeen elk from the Yellow stone national park have been placed in the Pisgah national forest in an enclosure made for confining the elk and a herd of buifaloes. Miss Johnson will play Beatrice in the forth coming pro duction of “Much Acl«j About Noth ing.” BRYSON CHILD DIES The 18-months old daughter, and only child, of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bryson, jr., died at its home near Selioa on Monday morning of last week from bronchial pneumonia. Interment was made at Cathey’s creek. The services were conducted by Rev. A. J. Manley.
