The Farmer to Feed the World
Uncle Sam
Demands that we raise bumper
crops this year to feed ourselves
and the starving millions in Europe.
Can we do it? We can, if we have
the equipment, but we can’t unless
we are prepared.
Come to our store and let us show
you what we have in farming tools
—and we sell them for just a little
less than the other fellow.
We have Shovels, Forks, Hoes,
Rakes, Mattocks and Picks.
WE HAVE BROWN’S IMPROVED CULTIVATOR
We have irs stock at present and
at all times a full supply of the fa
mous AMERICAN FENCING wire
for all kiiidG of fences—Poultry,
Hogo Cattle.
Now is time to begin to fix up
your fences to keep the stock out of
your corn field or garden.
Come in and let’s talk it over.
We will save you some money.

ROSMAN NEWS
J. Z. Stroupe and R. K. Powell have
made two other successful raids on
blockade stills in the Reed’s Siding
section. Last Tuesday they raided
a lar^e distillery across Toxaway Riv

two large mashes. Also raided same
section Thursday and captured a dis
tillery outfit of 75 gallons and a large
quantity of mashes of about 7 bushels
Officers say that they seem to have
an incentive for stills in that section.
Last report for Dillie Fisher was
that he was improving nicely.
