K. Powell have made two other successful raids on blockade stills in the Reed’s Siding section. Last Tuesday they raided a lar^e distillery across Toxaway Riv er about 3 miles from Reid’s Siding and captured the still and outfit of 100 gallons, 300 gallons of beer and two large mashes. Also raided same section Thursday and captured a dis tillery outfit of 75 gallons and a large quantity of mashes of about 7 bushels Officers say that they seem to have an incentive for stills in that section. Last report for Dillie Fisher was that he was improving nicely. C. Pharr, returned to his home near Olin, N. C. last week. Mr. Owenby has taken charge of the Rosman Hotel which was ecently vacated by Mrs. Burgess. Miss Harriet Platt, v/ho spent sev eral months in Va. is again here with her sister, Mrs. Claude Green. Mary Current returned recently from Olin, N. C. where she visited relatives and friends.
