EAST FORK NEWS Born ot Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gravely on October 3rd, a son, William Hen sley. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Gil lespie, October 17, a daughter. The Bible "and flag presentation to East Fork school Sunday, October 10, by tho Junior Order of Rosman, was an enjoyable day for all the community as well as the school children. There were several good talks given by members of the Or der. Also an interesting address given by Mr. Lewis Hamlin. Hubert Summey and son Roy, are in Gastonia, where Roy is taking treatment. The friends of Mr. and Mrs. Er nest Gillespie of 'Asheville, are glad to learn that their little daughter, Lucille, is improving after ten weeks illness. She is still in Mer l-ivvether hospital, where after two operation for mastoids. She is im proving daily. An East Fork citizen has a stalk of cane fourteen feet and nine in chci long.
