PROCLAIMING JESUS' BIRTH The stars of Heaven twinkled bright, in the stillness of the night, While the darkness hovered over all the earth ; There appeared a b'rilliant star, and its brightness shone a^-far, Proclaiming Jesus' birth. The angels sweetly singing there, in the Heavens bright and fair, Told the wise men how that peace had come to earth; As they shouted loud and clear, and was heard both far and near, proclaiming Jesus' birth. The .shepherds heard the angels sing, of the holy new-born King, As they sang the glad new message "Peace on earth ? Unto you a Saviour's given, He'll prepare your souls for Heav'n," Proclaiming Jesus' birth. The wise-hien gladly went to seek, in the quietness of the meek, And they found the Saviour one of precious worth ; Yes, they gave him gifts of gold, i and the story sweetly told, Proclaiming Jesus' birth. ?
