C. Bartlett, of Gunnison, Colo, was called here on account of the i serious illness of his sister, Dr. i Laura F. Bartlett, who is confined in Transylvania hospital, but is report ed to be improving. Miss Grace Piercy has returned from the home of her father near Burnsville, where she was called on aceount of his illness. Miss Rowena Orr spent the week end in Asheville with friends. Mrs. A. H.
