A lot of Christmas cheev bit the .

One man was persistant in want- ,

He stayed on the scene of action un- ?
til the officers were near by, although [
he had been signalled to get out by j
confederates. One thousand gallons of i
beer was poured out, a small quantity j
of whiskey and five gallons of back
ings were found. The whiskey had
been carried off and hidden as fast as
it was run off. The officers proudly
brought their trophy back to town

The bride is the daughter of Mr.

Mr. Staton is the youngest son of
Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Staton of Rosman.
He is a graduate of Rosman High
school class of '30, and is very prom
inent in all church activities. The
