HIGHS SPLIT EVEN IN DOUBLE HEADER The Rosman high school basketball teams divided a double header with Brevard high school on the Roemaa court Friday afternoon the Ro* man boy3 winning by a scowi of 24-10 and the Brevard girls leading with a 17-15 score. SOCIAL Miss Mildred Watkins entertained at her home Saturday night, Feb. 13, with a B. Y. P. U social and valentine party. Many games were played throughout the evening. Refreshments of cake and peaches with whipped cream were served. SEDAN PLUNGES INTO RIVER; DRIVER UNHURT The sedan owned by Floyd Moss was wrecked in the French Broac River, Sunday night, just opposite th< plant of the Rosman Tanning Extrad Co. The car was taken by Fran! Bailey from where it had been parkec by Floyd Moss. The climax of th? short ride was thru the highway guard fence and into the river. Th( car wa3 badly damaged but the driver was unhurt. HOME ECONOMICS NEWS The home economics classes oi Rosman high school entertained is Chapel Friday, Feb. 12. The following program was given: Fashion show displaying the child rens' clothes made by the second yeai girls.
