RESOLUTIONS IN MEMORY OF JUSTUS Resolutions of respect and regret expressing the sentiments of the County Board of Commissioners and sympathy for Mrs. Justus were adopted by the county commissioners v.-nsn they met in regular session | Monday. The resolutions were unani mously adopted and the clerk of the board was directed to send a copy of the resolution to Mrs. Justus and spread a copy of same on the minutes of the meeting. The resolutions read: WHEREAS, the said George M. Justus had been duly elccted Treasurer o( Transylvania county and had parformed his duties as Treasurer with ability, honesty and strict compliance with ail law in con nection therewith and had proved j himself to be an able, honest and efficient official, and Whereas, in the death of George M. Justus, the county has lost an u upright useful and able citizen and f official. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolv ed that the Board of Commissioners of Transylvania county in meeting assembled do hereby express the deep regret in the loss of so good a man, so capable and official, so splendid a husband and father and so good an example of an industrious, capable honest and God fearing Christian gentleman. And be it further resolved that the Board express its eympathy both as officials and as individuals, to the be reaved family of Mr. Justus and that a copy of this resolution be sent to Mrs. Justus arvd another copy be spread upon the minutes of this meet ing.
