PL A Y A SUCCESS
"Fine!" "Excellent!" "Good!" were
some of the remarks praising the
splendid presentation of the play,
"The Hoodooed Coon" at Penrose
Saturday night. In spite of the rain
and mud there was a good attendance
and the ball club realized a neat lit
tle sum to help out of debt and carry
on the good old ball sport for the
rest of the season. The usual good
order at Penrose exercises was notic
ed and is to be commended. Members
cf the cast for the play are expect
ing to carry this excellent comedy to
other places for presentation. The
thanks of the manager go to every
one who helped to make this play a
success.
