A large number of our folks at tended the Baptising at Cherryfield Sunday and witnessed the most beautiful ordinances recorded here in years. Twenty-seven were baptised ranging in age from nine years to fifty, this being a result of seventeen days revival services conducted by Pastor B. N- Rogers assisted by Rev. Tom Cogdon of Canton. Next Saturday evening prayer ser- i vice will be held at the home of Mr. j and Mrs. Henry Barton. Henry McKinna is clearing a large j new ground in addition to his farm. Sanders and her mother, Mrs. Nicholson, who is visiting her, spent Monday with Mrs. C. L. Sand ers and Mrs. I. S. Sanders. Dora Jane, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walker McKinney, was buried Wednesday at Lake Toxaway cemetery. Rev. S. B. McCall conducted the funeral services. Clarence Norton is attending court as juror in Hendersonville this we?k. J. L. Sanders and Welch Reid are taking the week off for a camping trip in the White Water section. We hope all who are interested in the Glazener cemetery near Brevard will be on hand Friday August 26, to help clear off and beautify the graves of loved ones. Bring tools and lunch.
