Forty-seven little boys and girls
were entertained by Mr. and Mrs.
Harry S. . Wiggins at their home on
Harrison Avenue, on Monday even
ing, March 24th, from 3 to 5 o'clock,
the occasion being the fifth birthday
of their little daughter Ruth. The
elders who brought the little ones
had a good time watching them en
joy themselves. Ice Cre"am and cake
were served when they tired of play.
The birthday cake was cut by Mrs.
Thomas Johnston after the children
enjoyed blowing out the candles.
Little Miss Ruth was the recipient of
many nice presents and the boxes of
candy which .she received were en
joyed by all.

at Otto, Dillard and Clayton on
Thursday morning, to load poultry
for those sections. Please have your
poultry at these stations early so that
the weighing can be done before the
time the train is scheduled to arrive.

that another is planned for three or

In Loving Memory of
My Dear Grandpa
Our community was deeply grieved
Tuesday night, March 25th, by the'
death of Mr. Logan Tallent. The
death angel came Tuesday night at
lfteen minutes .till twelve o'clock.
At the time of his death he" was seventy-two.
years, six months and twen
ty days old. Hcwas a faithful mem
ber of the lotla Methodist church
and a devoted Christian. He leaves a
wife and nine childres and a hrfst of
friends and relatives to mourn his
loss. fay God's , richest blessings
rest upon the bereaved family.
