Miss Hazel Brooks spent Friday
night with Miss Arbutus Ward.
Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Jones and small
daughter spent, Monday with Mr. and

Pfc. Wroe Brown, who is a patient
in an army hospital in Virginia, has
just returned after spending his fur
lough with his father, Hershel Brown,
and homefolk. He was wounded in
combat duty in France in July.
Word has just been received by Mr.
and Mrs. A. L. A. Sutton that their
son, T.. B. Sutton, is now back in the
States taking treatment for wounds
received while overseas.
Howard - Nations, who has spent
several months overseas with the
armed forces, is spending his furlough
with his father, T. N. Nations. He
has seen action in North Africa and
Italy.

word that her son, Sgt. Frank L.
Brown, has landed safely somewhere
in the Mariana Islands. Sgt. Brown
entered the service Sept., 194$. His
group is made up of B-29s super
fortresses. Prior to entering the ser
vice he was employed in the state of
Washington. His brother, Sgt. George
W. Brown, is serving in France.
