will make a number of side trips

to return to Cullowhee about Jan.

Prof. A. C. Reynolds, who to
gether with Mrs. Reynolds, have
been living for the past year at
^their farm in Haywood county,
is now a patient at Aston Park
liospital in Asheville. Mr. Reyn
olds, who has been suffering with
ak critical heart condition, is re
iported to be slightly improved.

the hospital for four weeks and

Asheville Home
V. L. Ezell, 80, retired lumber
inspector, died at his home in West
Asheville Monday night.
A native of Union County, Ga.,
he resided at Whittier for 25 years
before moving to Asheville^ eight
years ago. He is the father of
Earl H. Ezell, a former employee
of The Herald, now residing in
Norfolk, Va.
