One new member was enrolled at this time. ' After a routine business session the members saw a demonstration on enlarging, given by a club member. The program was to have been on tinting of photographs, but dtie to illness, Mr. Wakefield was unable to be present to gu^e the demonstration. The jfenlarging technique demonstrated to the members was very interesting and instructive and was greatly enjoyed by those present. The next regular meeting will be held April 4 in the club rooms. Pettit. During this week, Mr. Thomas Clark, of Chile, will be a guest of the N. C. Division of Forestry and will be shown the forestry methods used by Mr. Pettit throughout the Sylva District. According to Forester Pettit, Mr. Clark has been sent to the United States by his Government to learn as much about American forestry as possible during his short stay. While in Sylva Mr. Clark will study the forest fire uroteetion set-un of the Forestry Division. He will be taken out on ei fire, if one occurs, and see how the county forest wardens organize their crews and attack the fire. He will also observe forestry management and planting practices.
