Webster experienced its first forest fire in several years on Monday afternoon when fire . caught in a pine thicket just outside the village. The fire was on a hill back of the old Davis farm and it caught from a brush Dile; which was burned on Virgil Cook's property during the morning. There were nine , quartets, one choir, one trio, and one soloist present to take part . in the singing. Congregational > singing was also enjoyed. A large crowd attended and enjoyed the afternoon of singing.
