Jesus Christ-Gods i'L.! Sr.l.W Testimony To : Him. The most fundamental ques tion in religion in this" Was Jesus Christ What He Claimed To Be?" If he wasn't, then while our duty on many great questions may not be clear, yet some things at least are settled But. thank Heaven, on many occasions and in a number of ways, God has borne His testimony to the fact that the claims of Jesus Christ were true ones. And he has bom this testimony not only in the past, but in the present as well. It was a great shock to Vernie who was away in school, when she received the telegram Easter was just alive, but it was heartbreaking to her when she came home and found little Easter dead. The funeral services were con ducted by Rev. Rome Woodson at their home, not a one of the' family was able to go to the burying. She waa laid to rest by her mother's side at the Dry Pond Cemetery, January 16, 1923.
