Paint Fork Items At this writing many farmers have there corn land practically ready to plant, many acres will be planted this week. As we have learned to plant early" to make firm heavy corn. Nelson Anderson has broke the' record selling corn so iar in this section A number of bus hel at $1.25 per bushel. . Mr. John James and wife have gone to West Asheville to re Bide.,., Mr. Kenneth Anderson has ar rived from the eastern Dart of N. C. to take a course in House Keeping with his wife Rev. L. C. Roberts, filled his monthly appointment o n the third Saturdav and Sunday of this month, at Paint .Fork. On Sunday we had several folks out to hear Bro. Roberts preach a very enjeraining sermon using as his theme, The Importance of selecting Conscerated Christian and Teachers in all Sunday School! and Christian work. We have had what some folks eall an entertaining visitor in our section, is best known as the Banjo and dance. Seems to have a drawine inclination to several people. , Consequently would just say and ask that we ever keep in mind this one fact that there isn't any true devoted christian having the cause of Jesus Christ properly at heart, that will seldom be fonnd attending the places of dance.
